We need not walk alone. We are The Compassionate Friends of Cumberland County, NJ.

The story of The Compassionate Friends is one of loss, but also of love, caring, and sharing that have emerged from those committed to the idea That We Need Not Walk Alone. Over its four decades of existence, TCF has supported hundreds of thousands of families in dealing with the natural grieving process following the death of a child. Today, with more than 600 chapters in the United States, and a presence in at least 30 countries, TCF has emerged as the world's largest self -help bereavement organization, never losing sight of its mission of compassionate support.

The Compassionate Friends of Cumberland County, NJ was formed in April 2010 to help bereaved parents, adult siblings, and grandparents dealing with the grief over the loss of a child here in Cumberland County, NJ. We believe that the families in the area would find strength and comfort in the safe atmosphere of the meetings to share not only their grief, but information that has been helpful to other parents also dealing with the loss of their child.

We need not walk alone. We are The Compassionate Friends. We reachout to each other with love, with understanding, and with hope.
